We collect personal information so that we may respond to requests. Sometimes the requests come from visitors to our website who are interested in the services we provide. Patients may also send information to us about a medical bill. Often, people contact us regarding employment as well.
How do we use personal information?
We use the information provided to us in order to respond to requests. For example, we collect contact information so that we may respond once we receive a request. If a patient provides health insurance information to us, we may use that information to submit a medical claim. If a person completes an online application for employment, we use the information provided to evaluate employment potential and respond.
Do we ever share or sell personal information?
No. Personal information provided to MSM is used only by MSM.
How do we keep personal information secure?
MSM’s Information Systems/Information Technology Department uses the latest technology to ensure that our systems are secure and personal information is protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
As a covered entity as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), MSM complies with HIPAA as well as California laws relating to the access, use and disclosure of protected health information.
