General Description

MSM seeks an Administrative Support Representative to provide administrative support to our Billing Department, including payment processing, sorting correspondence, mailing claims, requesting reports, and scanning while providing excellent customer service and identifying areas of process improvement.

Essential Duties

  • Batching, logging, and processing incoming payments and manual charges
  • Preparing and mailing claims to the insurance carriers
  • Processing incoming correspondence and automatic appeal letters
  • Requesting, scanning, and forwarding reports
  • Taking initiative and action to resolve issues
  • Identifying areas for operational improvement and cost reduction

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, or related area, and at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
